This Privacy Policy explains how CallZI ("CallZI", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information. CallZI is operated by Rakesh M., located in Santa Clara, CA.

CallZI provides an AI phone receptionist for local service businesses (for example, salons, clinics, home services, and auto repair shops). When you call a business that uses CallZI and book an appointment during the call, CallZI sends you a text message to confirm that appointment.

This policy is written primarily for you — the customer who calls a CallZI-powered business and receives our text messages — as well as for the businesses that use CallZI. By using our services or receiving our messages, you acknowledge the practices described here.

2. SMS / Text Messaging & Mobile Information

This section describes how we handle your mobile phone number and your text messaging consent. It is the most important section for anyone receiving texts from CallZI.

No sale or sharing of mobile information for marketing

No mobile information (including your phone number and SMS opt-in/consent data) will be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We may share mobile information only with the service providers that help us deliver the messages you agreed to receive — specifically our SMS delivery provider (sent.dm) and our scheduling and calendar systems (Google Calendar). These providers process your information solely to send and manage your appointment messages on our behalf, and they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Your opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for that third party's own marketing.

How we collect your phone number

We collect your mobile phone number when you book an appointment by phone with a business that uses CallZI. The number we use is the number you called from, unless you provide a different number during the call.

How we use your phone number

We use your phone number only to send transactional text messages related to your appointment — specifically appointment confirmations and cancellations. We do not use it to send marketing or promotional messages.

What our messages ask

A typical confirmation message asks you to "Reply YES to confirm or NO to cancel" your appointment.

Message frequency and rates

Message frequency is typically 1–2 messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

How to opt out and get help

  • To stop receiving appointment texts, reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, after which we will not send you further appointment texts.
  • For help, reply HELP, or contact us at vegancodesofficial@gmail.com.

Please note: opting out stops appointment text messages, but it does not cancel any existing appointments. If you need to cancel or change an appointment, please contact the business directly.

Consent

Your consent to receive these texts is obtained verbally during your phone call. During the call, CallZI's AI states that a confirmation text will be sent to your number and obtains your agreement before any message is sent.

3. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with CallZI, we may collect:

  • Contact information — your mobile phone number, and any name or contact details you provide when booking.
  • Appointment information — appointment date, time, service requested, and confirmation or cancellation status.
  • Call-related information — information you provide during your call that is needed to book or manage your appointment.
  • Messaging information — the content and delivery status of the appointment texts we send to you, and your replies (such as YES, NO, STOP, or HELP).
  • Consent records — records that you consented to receive texts, including when and how consent was given.
  • Business account information (for businesses that use CallZI) — account, contact, and billing details.
  • Technical information — limited technical data generated when our systems and our service providers process messages and scheduling.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Send you appointment confirmations and cancellations.
  • Schedule, update, and manage appointments.
  • Respond to your replies (such as confirming, cancelling, or providing help).
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the CallZI service.
  • Maintain records of consent and message delivery.
  • Process billing for businesses that use CallZI.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

5. Service Providers and Sub-Processors

We use a small number of trusted service providers (sub-processors) to operate CallZI. They process information only as needed to provide their services to us:

  • sent.dm — SMS message delivery.
  • Firebase / Firestore (Google) — data storage and application infrastructure.
  • Google Calendar — appointment scheduling.
  • Stripe — billing and payment processing for business accounts.

These providers are bound by their obligations to handle information securely and to use it only for the purposes of providing services to CallZI.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

  • With the service providers listed above, to operate the service.
  • With the business you booked with, so it can manage your appointment.
  • When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • In connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this policy.

As stated above, mobile information and SMS consent data are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records of consent and message delivery, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your information.
  • Opt out of text messages at any time (reply STOP).

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, access, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. CallZI does not sell personal information.

10. Children's Privacy

CallZI is intended for use by adults and businesses. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by applicable law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. 11. International Transfers
